Street mini-concerts – MUSIC OF THE FORTRESS
Bucharest days in Vienna is also presented by the pupils from “George Enescu” Music High school from Bucharest, with classical music mini-concerts, named MUSIC OF THE FORTRESS.
Duo “Passion”, trio “Beethoven” and the “Musique” quartet have already been appreciated in the past days by the people from Vienna, both in Prater Park from Karlsplatz, and in Kärntnerstrasse.
The passers-by stopped to watch and applaud after each act in such a great number that the access on Kärntnerstrasse (the street for the pedestrians) has been blocked.
The biggest surprise came on Saturday, when an Austrian nonprofit organization invited the “Musique” quartet on their scene, motivating that “what they do is so impressive that a great part of people should see them”.
Other classical music bands from Bucharest High school may be seen in Vienna between 11-17 May and 24-26 May.
