World Trade Center Bucharest

 

The mission of World Trade Center Bucharest is to support, within a public-private partnership, the efforts of business communities and local authorities to become active players in international trade, to attract foreign investment and to encourage economic development, in this way contributing to peace and political stability in the world.

 

To this purpose, World Trade Center Bucharest offers a wide range of facilities and services for business development “all under one roof”. These include know-how and personnel specialized in the management of large-scale national and international events (conferences, trade missions, exhibitions, communication forums) as well as the necessary logistics: a conference center, class A office spaces, a four star hotel (Hotel Sofitel) and a shopping gallery.

“ Bucharest, European Metropolis - Investment Opportunities”

 

Now at its second edition, the International Business Forum “ Bucharest, European Metropolis - Investment Opportunities” is organized jointly by Bucharest City Hall and World Trade Center Bucharest.

The forum will debate topics related to infrastructure development strategies in Romania and the city of Bucharest, urban development and the environment, expertise in the management of investment projects during the last 15 years, as well as Bucharest City Hall's investment projects in the years to come.

With programs, projects and funds at its disposal for the management of Bucharest City's Development Program, the City Hall wishes to attract high-profile partners for Western standard execution so as to transform Bucharest into a true European Metropolis as soon as possible.

Even if only at its second edition, “Real Vienna” is one of the main real estate fairs targeting the EU Central and East European countries.

Supplying vast information about each participating country, the fair gathers developers, construction companies and financing institutions in this region of Europe, that has great potential for real estate development.

Cities and regions are also represented, as well as consultancies in real estate, real estate management and construction management, architects' and urban planning offices, real estate publications and service providers.

Placed under the logo “Bucharest, European Metropolis”, the stand presents, first of all, short and long-term projects of Bucharest City Hall, focusing on transports, roads, traffic systems, information systems, environment protection, real property and cadastral records, urban development and land improvement.


The stand also presents private-public partnership projects, as well as the projects of a number of commercial investors that have changed the image of Bucharest during the last 15 years. Some of these are: Băneasa Developments, River Invest, Real Time and Trigranit.

All these projects, included in the general Development Program of Bucharest, will transform the Capital city of Romania into a modern European capital city.

World Trade Center Bucharest supports the Romanian business community, especially the small and middle size enterprises, to position themselves on the map of international trade through a wide range of promotion and international trade services.

Bucharest Trade Mission to Vienna

 

These days, Bucharest is presenting itself to Vienna with what it holds as most representative: in this context, Romanian business people wish to meet their Viennese and European partners face to face.

The trade mission organized by Bucharest City Hall and World Trade Center Bucharest includes members of the Bucharest business community representing several sectors: architecture, urban development, management and constructions, tourism and Information Technology.



The purpose of the business meetings scheduled is to establish contacts that

will lead to long-time cooperation and to mutually advantageous business
